film music

Film music must be at service of what the director wants to express. A Soundtrack should not desire to be the star in a movie. A good Soundtrack works well when it can be integrated in the production and can make even more touching what the rest of the staff (actors, cinematographer, screenwriter or the director himself) have achieved. It is the composer's responsability to complete the project and, sometimes,  he has to bring emotions to the audience that cannot be watched on the screen.

music for the stage

Music and Theatre are linked from the first operas. However, in a work that has not been written to be sung, music can support the actors, not only emotionally, but also in a rythmic background. The actors after repeated reharsals takes the rythm in and the work breathes with it, even the text itself end up adopting the pace set by the music despite is the music that works to serve the emotional climate and to express the message that writer and director have sought.

advertising and commercials

Although, in a part, similar in its objectives to Soundtracks; music for advertising has a purpose that makes a small difference. It shares with film music the expression and the function of provoking emotions it also must work together with the message that has to be expressed, but in this case, music must also capture the viewer's attention immediately and maintain it while causing sensations that the publicist wanted in his audience. All this in a very short time. A challenge.

 music for orchestra

When music is written to be performed in the space of a concert hall is when the music takes the center of the stage and gets the leading role. In this sphere, music becomes, daring, bold, expresses itself. Therefore, in the music that is written for no other reason that music itself is the one in which the composer more can experiment with new harmonies, rhythms, orchestrations and different sounds. It is in this area where more the composer shows his inner world, his way of seeing life.
